Sega has just posted its information for sales showing shifts between digital and packaged. The Shifts shows a slow down with packaged games from their prior steady movement while Digital games have remained unphased. One of the titles mentioned is Persona 4 Arena The Ultimax which I should point out has been out for a while as well as the other games so the slow down might becoming from that. I will post the information below for you to check out. But for those who are worried that this might affect Persona 5 we assured it won’t and are told that Atlus as well as Sega are looking forward to launching the title. On top of that they stated this along with the numbers.
“In the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, the Group will launch new titles mainly for the Group’s mainstay IP including ‘Persona5‘ which will be the latest title from the Persona series boasting over 6 million total copies sold along with implementing transitions of IP for packaged games such as ‘Total War‘ series into digital games mainly in overseas.”
