Final Fantasy VII Remake My Musical Blessing

Final Fantasy VII Remake has many fans and those who worked on hyped to see it again and revisit that magical word. All except for composure Hironobu Sakaguchi. He has expressed shock that the  project is on but gives those who are working on the project his blessing as he sees it being different from his work. He is basing this off of the gameplay video shown at PSX last year. For those who want to know what he said I will translate the article for you to read below.

Remakes are difficult (to create). Take Star Wars for example. George Lucas has added new images of synthesis to the original and people always prefer to watch the original rather than the remake. I‘m not saying that’s a bad thing. I just think it’s difficult. We‘ve seen glimpses of the new game and all the graphics have logically changed. This means, that in connection with these new graphics, all the fight scenes will change also. They will probably ensure that the battles are real-time. I think they need to do a whole new game which shares only the characters, history and the world of the original. I cannot give them any advice. Perhaps: “do as you please.”
