More Final Fantasy Remakes ??

It seems Final Fantasy VII Remake may not be the only remake no Square Enix mind. Director Takashi Katano spoke that other titles will fall under remake then remastered because of the tech no at our disposal as opposed to when they were released. The three games the article mentions is 6, 8 and 9.

Final Fantasy 12] is a PS2 title, and you look at the other titles in the series and technologically anything before the PS2 era is going to be quite difficult to do a modern remaster of to a suitable level of quality. That means [a future game] is far more likely to be a remake.”

The problem with these games is how long will it take to do them. Final Fantasy VII Remake. Is taking awhile and right now we are only hoping for video and info as actual release has not been mentioned. Now we should also mention that Square Enix doesn’t want to become a company just remaking old games. So if this does happen (as it is a big if right now) how much can we look forward to. Things to think about right. Below will be pictures from a fan remake on FFVIII to give you something to look at while you take in what has been said.
