Final Fantasy VII Remake Mobius Takes Development

Last week we learned that Final Fantasy VII Remake is heading into development. As we learned this we found out that they are hiring for six position listing two famous in the series Kitase and Nomura as they trying bring in new blood. Well another name was mentioned Naoki Hamaguchi.

Naoki is lead project developer which is something to note as the games heads into development. If you haven’t heard of his name you do know his work. Naoki was the director for Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XII and his current work Mobius Final Fantasy. He speaks how development on the game has shifted.

“As for the whole story, (it’s a sensitive topic, but) until now, development was moving forward with external cooperation, but the company has decided to shift to an internal setup, including mass production and quality, because we want to control everything, including quality, on a stable schedule. (I won’t be leaving Mobius Final Fantasy.)”

This sounds good on one hand and bad on the other as it is nice for him to be getting involved we don’t know what this means as Cyberconnect2 was working on the game as well. So will they be removed or are they still in. We have to see. I hope they continue to work on it as they have the talent and they are fans of the game.

As always thank you for reading.
