Final Fantasy VII Remake the game we were hoping would be at E3 2017 at the very least in trailer forum. A hope that looking back was a long one but I still hope for new stuff to be shown this year.
Let me explain on the hope. It was only announced a few weeks before E3 2017 that Square Enix was overhauling the game basically doing it them selves after working on it for some time with Cyberconnect2. This was as Nomura expressed he was happy with the results.
Soon after we heard Nomura was expanding his team not only getting the director from Mobius Final Fantasy but also hiring people for six positions. This took a while for people to link the two as we soon found that It was Nomura team that was doing the hiring. I believe this overhaul is way the game was a complete no show.
I say this as Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer out of the blue was shown before the expo even began. Given how both games were suppose to have a big presence together at Magic 2017 but we got screenshots I believe that Remake was to be shown in the same manner for E3. With that said I still believe we can still got some stuff for the year.
We still have other events can be shown at TGS, PSX or even the fact Square Enix may just shock us and show it out of the blue. They are hiring more people so they should be able to hopefully give us something. I just hope they will show it to all.
I saw that as this team has no problem show certain people in a closed room. This is what happened last year with Kingdom Hearts 3. Only certain people saw a small bit of footage in January only for the fans to see in spring late summer.
When we started this look at the game I was hoping for a trailer this week and a demo by PSX wondering will it be Nomura team only or will they show stuff worked on with Cyberconnect2? Now I am hoping for a trailer by year out. If I am wrong as we still have time with E3 that they may show a trailer. Heck KH3 wasn’t scheduled and it was show. We will have to see.
As always thank you for reading.
