We have many Shadow Hearts fans hoping for the series return. As we await to see what Machida Matsuzo and Studio Wild Rose are planning (The people who made Shadow Hearts but don’t have the rights) we learn that another big fan is with us.
Jim Sterling has posted that he will campaign for Shadow Hearts after he brings back Dead Premonition. If you haven’t heard Premonition is enjoying a resurgence as the game is coming to switch with a sequel in the works. This means Jim should hopefully be working on how to get Shadow Hearts (convincing Universal Entertainment) to bring the game back.
I know to many that is another fan that might not mean anything but I would to point out we have more going for us than just Jim support. Many old games are coming back from Ape Escape to Taze. With legends of Mana and Wild Arms being brought back you can’t help but feel that any game from the generation should get a shoot at coming back. If nothing more but top prove can survive.
Another reason to believe in this or at least have some hope is that a fan pointed out that Pachinko laws are getting stricter. The reason why this is important is because Aruze because universal entertainment and then went into Pachinko. Most game developers go into this lending there titles instead of developing new games for them. With tighter laws in this department combined with Machida new studio with the wave of old titles coming back there is a strong a chance for us to get the beloved world that we love so much to com back. As all of this might convince Universal Entertainment to look into developing games again. Maybe even Shadow Hearts.
