Guilty Gear 2020 is in the works and we can’t wait to see more of it. Well one of the many things we are looking forward to is story mode. One aspect to me is whether Sol and Aria aka Jack’o who fused into Justice is over?
This is something as we learned in revelator both are the parents of Dizzy. (Much to Sol and Ky dismay of finding out they are in laws.) But looking back at it you would think that there story is done. But I don’t think so. If you look at how the story telling has been going we see more characters development compared to before in the XX series which was just to push the story that character is involved with.
This changed in revelator when we got character not just sitting down and talking but looking back to grasp not just is at stake but what has happened. Fox Axel we had him just time jumping trying to get home. In Xrd story we see him not just contemplating things but talking with I-no of all people. We see him talk with Ky and just have duels with him. It can be argued that this is thanks to the tech at hand but we also have to look at the fact it seems to be a way of telling there story differently.
With Sol and Aria thre story isn’t done in my eye. Yes now we have the women he fell for or at least was interested in him. This leaves them with much to talk about in some sense as Sol explains who is and she comes to terms. This will create an interesting dynamic that we can explore as the 2 come to terms with this and from the story telling style of the last game that might be the case.
